Amanda Litz is the owner of O’Flynn’s Art Gallery & Craft Shoppe. Being more of a wordsmith than an artist, you can find her children’s books in the shoppe, among many amazing local artworks and craft items.
She created O’Flynn’s as a way to give back to the community that she loves. Having moved around a lot in her life, living in almost 20 different homes, across 5 states, Cedar Springs has been the first place to truly feel like home, and she cherishes the connections that she has made here.
O’Flynn’s was designed as a place for the community to come together for public and private gatherings, fun and creative classes, and to be a platform to share their passions and creations with all that enter. Everything in there is created by local artists or artisans. It is a truly unique shoppe with an inviting and wonderful atmosphere, mostly due to the amazing associates she works with who are the face and heart of O’Flynn’s! You will rarely see Amanda there as she does all the background duties necessary to make the business run, but you will hear her voice if you call because the business number is just her personal cell, she has to save money wherever she can.
Amanda has taken many paths before creating O’Flynn’s. She spent a couple years in the Air Force as a linguist, went to college and got a double major in Criminal Justice and International Studies with a focus on Military Intelligence, interned in the Victim Witness Assistance program in the Fairborn prosecutor’s office in Ohio, married, divorced, and married again, has raised four children (still raising two of them), ran a publishing company while writing children’s books, owned a new and used bookstore on Main St. named after her publishing company ‘Traveler’s Trunk’, and ran a teen program out of the Cedar Springs Public Library, among other things.
She lives on the border of Sparta and Cedar Springs on twenty acres with her husband, two younger children, dog, and several pole barn cats, and next door to her parents. She looks forward to a long and happy life as part of the Cedar Springs community.

While Aprille may not be a painter or a traditional artist, she has many talents that she brings to O'Flynn's, including connecting with people in the community, be they artists, crafters, or shoppers wandering in off the street.
Having several years working on shows and boards of community theatres in Plainwell and Allegan, she enjoys offering theatre or improv classes at O'Flynn's. She has done every aspect of theatre from acting, to writing, to directing, to producing, and any/all various roles of theatre during these years. During that time, she and her husband also enjoyed working at Haunted Houses during the "Scare Season".
Aprille loves working with many types of personalities. She worked as management in food service for a decade before moving onto working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. She worked in a school for 6 months and then worked for Allegan CMH for over 5 years where she taught skill building classes along with working in an adult day program. She gained a lot of experience working with very diverse people.
While in high school and college she took ASL courses. She has been able to use knowledge to grow her signing through the 25 years she's been signing. She has happily taught it to her twins since birth and has taught classes along with groups basic signing over the years. She has used it in her experiences with working with people in life as well.
In August of 2020 during the pandemic, Aprille began working at O'Flynn's. It became her fun free time out of the house allowing her to be able to connect with beauty and individuals during this very new society that Covid seemed to have created. Along with Mallory, Aprille is also a Spiritual Health Coach offering Card Readings, I Ching Guidance, and Reiki.
Currently Aprille lives in Rockford with her husband and 7-year-old twins.

Mallory McIntyre is the Event Coordinator at O’Flynn’s Art Gallery & Craft Shoppe. Along with that, she also is an Artist, the Creator and Instructor of various classes and Children’s Art Programs, and she is a Spiritual Health Coach offering Tarot Readings and Reiki.
Mallory is a Rockford, Michigan, native, with many family members residing in or from the Cedar Springs area. A 2002 Rockford High School graduate, she went on to Northwood University for a year, then GRCC. In 2005, Mallory welcomed her daughter into the world. In 2012 she got married, welcomed her son into the world in 2013, then divorced. Then by 2014, Mallory packed up her and her kids and headed south to Texas. She decided it was time to come back home to Michigan in January of 2021.
Mallory spent 20 years in the automotive field, as a Parts Consultant and Service Advisor. It was while living in Texas that she discovered her ability to paint. After having discovered her love for painting, she discovered her gifts of Tarot, Meditation, Mediumship and Reiki. Born with Usher’s Syndrome Type 2, with Retinitis Pigmentosa in both eyes, she is partially blind and moderately to severely deaf. Mallory decided she needed and wanted something different. It was no longer her desire to be in the fast lane of life, and off she went on her Spiritual Journey, her new life. That journey led her back home and to O’Flynn’s Art Gallery & Craft Shoppe. First as a starving artist doing tarot readings on the side for fun at Silk City Saloon, which led her to Skin City Spa & Tanning Salon in Belding as a Spiritual Health Coach with Tarot and Reiki. She also worked for her dad at Splash Irrigation, and she did not want to be out on the job site anymore! It was while Mallory was having her first Artist Meet & Greet at O’Flynn’s in April of 2022 when she was asked by her soon to be Associate, Aprille, to apply for the Event Coordinator Position.
It was literally a vision and dream come true for Mallory. Shortly after starting her position, Mallory introduced Paint Therapy, then organized Kid’s Art Camp for the summer, opened up Teen Paint Therapy, and with several people cheering her on she introduced O’Flynn’s Homeschool Co-Op Art Program Pre K to 6th Grade & Intro to Acrylics for 7th to 12th grade with one of our very own artists, Wayne Vander Hout, as the instructor. She also brought us the Fairy House Workshop, Pumpkin Pot Workshop and various other crafts and workshops. Mallory also found us our amazing Stained Glass Instructor, JoAnn Frost. She introduced us to the Holistic Health Expo, organized the Music / Art Fest with Scott’s Music Co., currently offers tarot readings, and is busy organizing new ways to bring people together at O’Flynn’s with Art and Spiritualism. She is working toward building a solid foundation with the city, local businesses, and community. You’ll usually see Mallory (and if you’re lucky her Service Dog, Journey) at O’Flynn’s working on an event, teaching, painting or connecting with people.
Mallory organizes our Monthly Special Events and is available for private parties and classes. You can contact her at events@oflynnsshoppe.com with ideas for events, if you’d like to participate in an event, or if you’d like any information about our upcoming events and for any private parties or classes we offer.
